Eagle 790 : Favorite wing of all time. Extreme speed, glide and carving.
+ Faster than any other foil I have, while gliding forever (recording stall at 15kmh, cruising at 22-24kmh, topping around 38-40kmh).
+ Incredible control in the carves, in the chops, in the waves, at max speed, in breaching. It just handles everything like it’s no problem.
+ Best production mast I have tried so far. 14mm thick, stiff and have not ventilated yet.
+ Construction is the best I have seen, fuselage is thin, the whole setup feels very stiff and responsive.
– Stall speed is quite high, the angle of attack has to be maintained quite flat to avoid stalling in the lower speeds. Technical wing.
– There is no turning back once you try it
At 77kg, currently proning above hip high, winging above 12kts. Best setup I found is X Short fuse and kd13r, winglets sanded down.
Still falling back on the cab H1000 for smaller conditions at the moment. The cab H650 feels slower but more loose, fun in clean chest high winging.
