Gong fluid range

Gong fluid range :
– Pumping, glide and downwind : Moderately efficient, the fluid XLS is comparable to the curve LT. The pumping is quite physical, to me it’s their main drawback. I feel that the normal versions have a better glide than the S ones.
– Stall speed : Extremely low once you get going, probably due to the little concave at the bottom of the wing close to the trailing edge. The foil is still very punchy at low speed.
– Carving : Very agile, can be turned on a dime, especially the L size, the XXLS is quite slower to move. A bit more carvy than the curve range.
– Breaching : Without any problem, even possible to breach the whole wing and re-engage in flight almost instantly, it’s a 4×4 of the sea. The difference with the curve range is huge on this point.
– Winging : XXLS from 8kts, XLS from 10kts, L from 12kts (for my 75kg, waspv2 5m, board gong lethal 4’6 65L). It’s a great foil for jumps as the transition landing to flying on foil is almost seamless!
